What Is Broad
Impact Network?
Broad Impact Network is a membership-based community for women passionate about the creative arts. Whether you are working as an artist or supporting the arts, Broad Impact Network empowers its members to celebrate, support, advocate, and shape an arts and culture that we believe in.
Our mission is to build a robust and engaged community of women who actively support female-identifying creators, advocate for freedom of artistic expression, and provide a creative space for women-led projects.
We unite women who love the creative arts and care about championing female voices so we can lift up artists, explore our own creativity, and make a real impact to advocate as a community. Broads are stronger together.
What We Do Together
Advocacy
Lights, camera, advocate! Members get exclusive invitations to Mission Debriefs with female-identifying leaders and visionaries in the arts and entertainment industry.
Learn the action steps we will take to impact change and influence what work gets our support.
Mission Debrief activations are fast, focused, and fun. We here at Broad Impact Network are tired of sitting on long Zoom meetings too! You’ll get fast facts and fast action steps as part of Broad Impact Network’s advocacy initiatives.

Gatherings
For women who want to connect with others who share their love of the creative arts, we offer real-world gatherings that combine community with memorable live entertainment events.
We’re thrilled to share a whole new way to experience the magic of connection, creativity, and women-powered storytelling!
Broad Impact Live is your Sunday spotlight—events where we celebrate the creative arts, champion female voices, and share unforgettable moments together. Whether we’re diving into an awards show, hosting a virtual watch party, or meeting up at a movie premiere or stage production in locations across the country-- Sundays just got a whole lot more special.
What to Expect:
Exclusive events tied to monthly themes.
A vibrant space to connect, reflect, and share your takeaways with fellow women.
Exciting opportunities to collaborate, advocate, and support women in the arts.
Mark your calendars: our first Broad Impact Live will be on Sunday, March 2 to celebrate The Academy Awards together — in style!
Creative Expression
Exploring and enriching your own creative journey is part of what makes Broad Impact Network unique. There are opportunities to listen, learn, and do! Whether you are an amateur, a working artist, or a dedicated supporter and superfan of the arts, entertainment and culture, you’ll find a sisterhood of support to nurture your own creativity.
We put money where our mouth is too. As part of the Broad Impact Grant Program, if you have a demo to record, a staged reading to mount, a score to finish, a class you would like to take to improve your teaching skills, a novel to self-publish or a short film to fund, you will want to be ready when we call for grant applications.
Here’s the best part: Broad Impact Network members get the opportunity to vote for the artists they’d most like to see awarded grants.
How cool is that?

Devin, artist and playwright
“I’m tired of Facebook and Instagram. I don’t trust it anymore. I only see ads. And where are my people? TBH, my profession is a lonely one and I need more support.”
Jessica, mom and part-time filmmaker
“Where can I find my people? It’s just not what it used to be for us filmmakers when I was in school. I want to connect with women and find some funding for a project but I’m feeling discouraged.”
Mary Jo, theatre executive director
“I don’t want to figure out which social media platform is best for helping me. I just want to simplify where I can keep my artistic priorities front-and-center alongside like-minded women.”
Anicka, local arts supporter and Beyonce super-fan
“I wish I could find a space where I am inspired to act in support of my love for the arts — especially in my community. I’m concerned about what is happening.”
Will I truly be able to change it?
Well, if not me, then who?
So I'll make my own team
And I'll raise up my hand
'Til we're rewriting the law of the land.
— “Finish The Fight” from the musical Suffs (music and lyrics by Shaina Taub)
Our Mission
Broad Impact Network is a fearless community of women who are done waiting for the creative arts to change—we’re here to make it happen. We uplift female creators, fund women-led projects, and use our collective voice to demand better representation and equity in the creative world. But we’re not just advocates—we’re creators, too. Whether you're an artist or a supporter, this is a space to spark new ideas, collaborate on bold projects, and celebrate the creative process together. Here, you don’t just wish for change—you create it.
We advocate. We create. We connect.
